Modern Irish Sculpture at the Buttermarket Kenmare.

Here are some of my favourites from the Modern Irish Sculpture Exhibition which is currently on in the Buttermarket in Kenmare. We are so lucky to have this art space in such a small town. Really it feels more like something from a cosmopolitan city than a rural Irish town. I visited this with my ten year old who sometimes resists being cultured but we both really enjoyed the experience. I particularly like the windswept tree, Resilience. As a fibromyalgia sufferer I relate to this theme of perseverance against the odds.
