Here is what I am working on now. During it's development I have been looking at Pisanello's Vision of St Eustace c.1435 as I am interested in his use of lights and darks and his warm tones as well as the self-contained nature of the piece which seems to exist in its own world.
As an aside I really want to get hold of some gouache paints as well as some of the new water based oil paints.
